My New Name…

During my time at home, a friend and I were talking about how in the Bible God changed the names of people to what they were to be and how important name meanings are. We started to talk about how we wish that this still happened today and then she was reminded of a book she read awhile ago. In the book it was talking about this same thing and how we actually do still get renamed by the words the Lord gives us and the ones He gives to those around us. It was a huge revelation about the words that have been spoken over me and the ones the Lord has said to me and how they soon became a part of me. *insert mind being blown right here*

After this revelation, I had been looking at a Giving Key but I did not know what word I should get on it. For those who have not heard of The Giving Key, it is a old key that a word is stamped on and you wear the key and embrace the word on it, once you have embraced it you pass it on to someone else who needs to embrace it more. I started to ask the Lord and felt lead to ask those close to me during the past year and a half. I asked them what is one word that they think I needed to be reminded of every day? I got back strong, chosen, and then one specific friend gave me FAVORED!!! Instantly FAVORED hit me and I asked her why she felt that word and she said, “I think sometimes you don’t realize how valued and desirable you are to the Lord. And He has specific plans for you.” I was literally blown away by this because it is so true and this is something I really need to remind myself about and then once I really constantly believe and know it, I can pass my key on to someone the Lords points to me that needs that reminder. Passing down a legacy!!!

So, my new name for this season is FAVORED!!!
